Karen Brown
Karen Brown, a talented musician and song-stylist from Memphis, TN by way of Oxford, MS, captivates audiences with her soulful voice and dynamic stage presence. Her musical journey began in her hometown, where she honed her singing skills in the church and community events. Her sound is a blend of soul, r&b, blues, pop, and rock. It has been said, ”An evening out listening to the vocal sounds of Karen Brown is like spending the night with the biggest musical legends of our time”. Karen has built a dedicated following in the South and beyond. She regularly performs at festivals and intimate venues, sharing her passion for music and her love for her Southern roots.
Davis Coen
Davis Coen characterizes his style as ‘contemporary country-blues’…a modern culmination of the hodgepodge of musical influences absorbed from living in the Mid-Southern U.S. and continual touring. He has played festivals, clubs, and bars throughout the U.S. for over twenty years, and has been billed repeat- edly at world-renowned Mid-South regional events such as King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena, AR and Juke Joint Festival in the Mississippi Delta. Davis has also enjoyed a dozen blues circuit tours of Europe, sharing bills with R.L. Burnside, Koko Taylor, Big Jack Johnson, David “Honeyboy” Edwards & Bo Diddley. He’s also headlined on more diversified festival bills with Wynton Marsalis, Leon Russell, Bonnie Raitt, Tito Puente, Toots & the Maytals, Richie Havens, Mountain & Eric Burdon.
Randy Ferguson’s Peavine Railroad
Randy Ferguson’s Peavine Railroad, featuring Trenton Ayers has spent a lot of their time together, the last ten months in particular, in the studio working on their debut forthcoming album “Long Train To Memphis”. The four piece rocking country blues powerhouse includes Ferguson handling vocals and rhythm guitar and co-fronting with Hill Country Blues guitar virtuoso Ayers, who co-wrote several of the songs with Ferguson. Wolfeagle Bassist extraordinaire Kevin Spight, and Soul Tone Cymbals representative and drummer par excellence, Timothy Scruggs round out the quartet.
